Scheepvaartmuseum

Today was miserable- cold and wet. After lunch at home we walked over to the shipping museum to take a look- it was really one of the nicest curated exhibits I've seen the whole trip.

I loved the ship decorations: like the ladies seen on the fronts of old ships, and ornamental carvings. There were also amazing historical navigation devices and a collection of globes dating back to 1645.

Out back in the harbor there was a tall ship too.
