aloha
imagine me sitting by the pool with drink in hand tapping away on my laptop. I said imagine. I am currently in the hawaiian islands on a little vacation. so far not totally tropical or relaxing but I am working on it. some thoughts: sand between toes, trade winds, happy hours, the smell of flowers, booze in corner stores, hotel air conditioning...and the best- standing in line behind a beautiful tanned boy and all I can smell is coconut suntan lotion

This sounds like paradise to me right about now. It is -30 at the moment and all I can smell is the freezing wind. I am imagining suntanning at the Mirage (not at the European deck) to make myself feel better. Have a pina colada for me.
I hope you know how lucky you are to be where you are!!
(side note to Miss B - I don't mean to burst your bubble, but don't expect too high of temperatures when you go to Vegas in February ... sorry, just being honest! It will still be lovely and warm though, like Spring weather!)
Anything but -35 with windchill! I will gladly take it...
