sew good: nautical throw pillows

This fall I've expanded my sewing repertoire beyond my quilting. I've always been into sewing- I used to sew a lot of things by hand, and in grade 4 my mom got my brother and I constructing a whole sets of summer clothes ourselves. I haven't followed a pattern since I was 13, so I'm not doing too shabby-

This year a number of Christmas presents were done this way. I kind of love making gifts from scratch. Very satisfying.
