Breda

Today I took a day trip to Breda with C. As it turned out there was a marathon on so the town center was packed with people, families, party goers and roving bands. We found a patio and took it all in. It was really great to walk around with company- but no map. Just see where we wound up.

Two totally differing points of view:

Grote Kerk (de Nassaus) Church.
It was beautiful to just walk around, we pretty much had the place to ourselves.

And even though my list of galleries had nothing for Breda, it turned out the Breda International Photo Festival was on and it was installed out and about in a park/residential area. It was great! My favorite pieces were by Alejandro Cartagena: beds of pickup trucks (and passengers) shot from an overpass in Mexico.
