Delft

I took the train on the rainiest morning so far to the quaint town of Delft. The market was on today and I just wandered around and had a drink and snack at one of the cafes near the main square.

I also went to the tower at Nieuwe Kerk: new day, same problem: about 3/4 of the way up I decided that was enough- No more spiral staircases where you fear for your life!... But the view was pretty spectacular.

BTW that picture of my foot is me standing on the level with the clock, outside, with only enough room for one way traffic. And a pretty low railing. I was glad not to meet anyone out there.
